Phillip Wilhite’s debut novel, Surviving Chadwick, was a brilliant coming-of–age story about a young African American student selected to attend an elite, nearly all white boarding school in the 1970’s.

Phillip has written prep sports articles for the Oakland Tribune, freelance new stories for the Philadelphia Inquirer and book reviews. He resides in Richmond, California.
